Anyone have any luck today. I went out and didnt see one fish but seen enough bait fisherman to make it a dissapointing day. I only met one other fly fisherman. Water was way too swift and deep to get to any good spots. I had to use two AB weights and it was still not enough to get my flies to the bottom.
I recently moved to Concord, CA and want to know where to go fly fishing.? I love fishing on small to medium creeks/rivers.? Does anybody know any rivers/creeks that are within a couple hours driving distance?
I would post this in the sale section but I'll get much more visibility here. If anyone has a connection to an organization that could use some gear I have a few items. I'm thinking like boys club, big brothers, etc., anything like that. Or if Bono can use them for clients with out equipment. I have 2 pairs...
My Simms waders, not quite a year old, have started "sweating" water inside. I dont know how else to describe it. After a long day on the creek, pulled the left leg out ,nice and dry. My right leg however, was soaked from mid shin down. Rang about a beercan's worth of Putah out of my sock and figu...

I always see fishermen out with waders comfortably in the water, while me and my dad are freezing. I asked him why we haven't gotten any waders, it seems so much better... He said that he didn't like the danger of them filling up with water, and possibly drowning or getting taking away by the current. Whi...
