Need some Advice

Hey guys, I was up at Putah this last weekend and the flows were pretty fast. Im somewhat new to flyfishing and was hoping for some advice on where would be a decent spot for a novice to easily fish on the creek w/o too much difficulty. Any help is appreciated.
