Went to the creek to make sure all the fish were still hungry..First thing I found was a friend in the parking area...headed down to the water and found 14 fish that enjoyed the artificial buffet I prepared for them...Then cruised over to #5 and found a few more hungry takers...I had one more spot I wanted to fish before I headed home..loaded up the buffet and headed to one of my not so fun to get to spots...word must of spead through out creek about the 3 course meal I was serving ...6 fish over 20" and bunch or their little buddies....One was a brownie..
Would have liked to see those six big ones...especially the brown. Sounds like you had great day. Must be those awesome mends and great drifts. Guess I'd better do my homework and improve my technique.
Downtown brown baby, gotta love that. That's one of those days you'll remember for awhile. Six over twomp and a brown is rare. I love the reports where someone actually caught some fish. Very nice.
It was great to hook into a brown...I was bummed when I saw how many soars it had ....They looked just like the ones you see on some of the planters..I dont know what they were or how log it has had them...fish was strong and hungry so thats a good sign...
fly girl...you got what it takes.....thats for sure...It will come quick for you...keep doing what your doing ....and have fun doing it...I think were all going to be asking you for advice in couple years.....
Mx19, good going! Six fish over 20 inches is truly a remarkable day's fishing. I had a good day about a month ago (three fish over 18 inches), but lately I seem to lose EVERY good size fish I hook. I guess some days you make all of the right moves. Other days you can do anything right. I guess that's all part of fishing Putah, though.
