I was thinking, instead of auctioning of the other 12 flies, we(all the mebers of the fly swap) could meet at Putah creek and fish for the set. This would be a chance for us to not only earn the 12 flies but also get together and share our tactics for fishing on Putah and other rivers like the Yuba and Feather...

Yesterday I was fishing and the threaded part of the reel seat came off my rod. I stuck it back on and it seems ok but I want to glue it to be sure. Any suggestions on what a profesional rod builder would use ? This was pretty disapointing since this is a very expensive fly rod. It has a lifetime warranty but do...

I found these glasses on the back side of Access 5. They have transition lenses, are prescription and have a magnifying triangle attached to the bottom of each lens. Frames appear pewter, although a bit corroded. Lenses are still in pretty good shape. PM me if they are yours.
Fished the silver fork with emerger on saturday. Weather was not exactly nice. Started out with a light snow and pretty much rained all day after that. Bad day to forget my rainjacket. Spent a good part of the day huddled next to a stream side fire trying to dry out. No fishies for me, I think emerger manag...
