Could someone explain how to tie in the mono loop on the hoopicator? Thanks.
I use 20 lb test mono. Tie in the mono at mid-shank on the near side of the hook with the line facing the rear of the hook. Make a small mono loop at the back of the hook and bring the remaining line up the far side of the hook shank, wrapping it with your tying thread. When you get to the front of the hook make another small mono loop, and bring the remaining line back to the mid-shank position (on the near side of the hook), meeting the end of the line that you started with. Cut the excess line, and cover the monofilament tightly with tying thread to make sure it holds well. I hope this makes sense.
