So i hit the creek on Tuesday, got skunked but oh well. The water was very brown/muddy and I realized that I did not know how that changed the game when it comes to fly fishing for trout. I mean if I was at the river, I would have grabbed the nearest chartruse lure and taken it for a swim. Any thoughts/advice?

Bounce it off their heads is about what it takes when it's this silty and murky. Visibility was about 1'-2', water was silty yesterday, but I wouldn't call it muddy.
Water was high but fishable, very tough fishing until it clears a little bit.
Yeah was up there today water is still pretty murky. I try to keep a little flashy somthing on (S&M today)..... worked today got a couple one was 23.5"

In muddy water I'll throw something bright or dark. I was on the creek today. It's still pretty murky, but I hooked a few fish on a #24 black drowned midge.
