Back a week or two ago I witnessed a pretty good hatch of these bugs on a local river. They were everywhere. Climbing on rocks, trees, and me. Anybody know what they are? Thanks to jburge from Kiene's board for the pix.

If you are using hooks size 18 and smaller and feel you are losing a lot of fish or are just not getting a good hook set, bend the hook at the gap either left or right to offset the point. Make your nymphs work better! Take a fly like a Hairs Ear and use some Shimizaki Dry Shake or Frogs Fanny fly dressing.
