Fished Putah for the first time today. Â Beautiful and fun place to fish. Â Didn't see anybody else out there. I have no idea where the good spots are so I spent a lot of the day exploring. Â Caught a lot of fish but most were under 6 inches. Â Here's a pic of my biggest one. Â Impressive huh?
Well, I'm sure I'll be out there a lot from now on and I just wanted to join the discussions.Â

Sounds like you had a rockin' first time out! In this case ... size DOES matter ... ALL sizes ! The diversity and sustainability of the fishery is undergoing a great deal of scientific scrutiny at this time ... your experience means a lot, and feedback is appreciated !
