I fished with a friend over the weekend and we spotted a white fish, that my friend thinks is a brown trout? Is he correct? The fish was definitly feeding, but we through everything we had at him , but never hooked him. The fish would even tug on my fly, and i would try to set it , and nothing. Any secrets?

November 16th to the Friday before the last Saturday in April it is flies only, single barbless hook and catch and release.

Silly maby. But the regs say as of November 15th.?Only artificial lures with barbless hooks may be used. So I guess a multi fly set up is ok? Right. I am still stuck on the old regs single barbless hook. And zero limit!!!? Sound right.
