Am I the only one thats concerned about the flows ? Why do they drop the flows to 67 cfs durring the time when eggs are in the graval and cant move to flowing water ?? I dont get it ?. With the lower flows, I can finally get into many of the stretches I love to fish on the Putah. Lots of 10-14" class fish to hand using tight line techniques and weighted flies. So much fun! They liked the size 18 tungsten bead head PT the most.... A few pale mayflies cam off ~ 1:30pm.

there seems to be a lot of bait fishing lately , yes I called dfg no they didnt make contact they always scoot before dfg shows up , next time I wont inform the pochers they are breaking the regs . Putah South Canal is getting its annual cleanout of silt and weeds. Creek flows were dropped to 80 and are now at 100. The fast ramp down was a mistake which won't be repeated. Flows may bounce around for another week before reurning to fall levels
