I think it was about 3 years ago I saw 2 nice sized largemouth just below the dam near the glory hole outlet. I don't think its a very good environment for them as the water is to cold. I don't think they can sustain a population in putah as the water temp. is to cold for them to spawn. i often wondered how they got there. Honestly I don't think bass get washed into putah from the glory hole. Lower putah below lake solano used to have a very nice population of both small mouth and largemouth but its been many years since I have tried to catch them. Even down by stevensons bridge I used to catch alot of them some real nice ones. To this day the biggest bass I ever caught was in lower putah, It was a bit over 8 lbs. Pumpkin seed power worm LOL I will always remember that fish.
