Region 3 Fisheries Biologists  have asked PCT to solicit volunteers for an upcoming Side Channel survey within the inter-dam reach of Putah Creek for trout. The survey will be a shallow water (primarily riffle) wading electroshock sampling for young of the year sized fish. Captured fish will be sized (length, weight)  tagged and released for later recapture surveys. Volunteers will assist CDFW staff by netting shocked fish, managing live cars, and assisting with measurements. Volunteers will be sent a link to the required CDFW Volunteer Form.
