Rmacneil656 I went out again this past weekend. Carp are super active right now. Maybe next time I'll tie up some carp patterns. We did the float again and didn't kill it in the numbers but didnt do too bad. For everyone who wants to fish the spawners for trophies, there's no need if you explore and play around with patterns during spring, summer, and early fall. The fish are everywhere and are less spooky in the high water. You just need to put the time in. Back to back weekends with fish you'll only see in magazines, in far off remote places.
