Does anyone know when the next organized PCT clean up day will be? I was out there earlier this evening and its gotten pretty messy with all the trash. It would be nice if we could do something before the flows drop so that when the creek does become fishable again we don't have to stare at someone's left overs. Also we should plan on bringing some gardening shears to "help" maintain the trails.
I haven't been to the creek for about at least a month, but there was quite of bit of trash in some of the areas last few times out. Will contact Steve to see if we can organize something. Maybe we could have a high flow fishing clinic and bbq with the cleanup???
Thanks J and C. The next cleanup is coming up next month on September 17, the annual Coastal Cleanup event. I will have a detailed post as the day approaches. We always barbecue post event, a clinic is a great idea.
Stream side trail vegetation trimming is, in general, legally off limits, especially for native plants. Himalayan blackberry-its invasive-who would miss it?

Steve do we have anymore reg signs. I haven't been to the creek lately much but last week was out fishing. There are some spots that could use signs. Especially right above the 8 pound mono wads laying on the bank
