Mike-thanks for the link. One of our PCT members, Ken Davis, is involved in the surveillance of local lakes for the presence of these non-native invasives, including Berryessa. They can virtually destroy an aquatic ecosystem through polluton from their waste products and crowding out native fauna, in addition to destroying beaches and water distribution systems. Can you imagine the havoc they could potentially wreak in Putah/Lake Solano?
