Yesterday wasn't my best day on the creek.  The wind was howling which made casting and mending difficult, and it was COLD.  The past few times that I've fished the creek I have wet waded because it was too hot.  Yesterday was a big change.  I only hooked three fish and landed none.  The three hooked fish were nice-sized, though (about 16", 18", 20").   They fought hard but all managed to get loose before I could net them.  I'm heading out there right now to redeem myself.  I'll give an update later today.

I made it back to the creek on 16 Sep.  The fishing was quite a bit better.  I only landed a couple of fish, one being 17", but I hooked countless fish.  I had two fish break me off, one being 24"+.  He was HUGE!  The other pulled me into a bush.  I have had three fish do the same thing to me in the same spot.  It could very well be the same fish.  It turned out to be a much better day than yesterday.
