When I pulled up on Labor Day, it reminded me of winter with all of the cars. There were quite a few people early, but luckily they didn't stay too long. They must have had barbecues to go to. It was a pretty good day on the creek. I hooked 12 fish and landed 4. I was surprised at the size of the fish. Half of the fish hooked were 18" or larger. They all fought hard and it was pretty fun. I was using the usual flies-caddis pupae, mayfly nymphs, and midges. It's been nice the past week. I've been able to get out to the creek a few times. Hopefully I can keep this up. My wife may not like it too much, though. Maybe I can get her to come along.
