Has anyone heard any reports about the half-pounders on the American?  A little over a month ago I heard they were in the river, but I haven't heard anything since then.

I saw a post a week back or so, on another board, about an adult (8-10 lb class) being caught on the American. Havn't heard too many other reports but people are out there fishing for them.

Just wanted to throw in an update as well....I fished below the Nimbus dam Saturday. Ton of salmon snaggers limited my fly action until just before dark. I did manage to get a nice steelie in the 29-32" range. I'm not exactly sure. I was so glad to F&G roll in just at dark and bust the snaggers.
