As I was walking up to # 4, I saw a bald eagle sitting in a tree across the creek. He looked at me and with two flaps of his wings was GONE! That really made my day.

I had one circle back and take a second look at my wifes dog a few months ago. The six pound little yapper would have made a good snack.

I don't remember ever seeing an eagle down along the creek, kudos to you. There used to be a lot of osprey that would put on a show now and then.

Great idea.  I'll take my neighbor's dogs down there for a walk.

Yesterday I saw an osprey and a bald eagle doing battle above the ranch ( access 5) .The Eagle was trying to chase the osprey away. My guess is the eagle was nesting near by. I’ve seen the bald eagles breeding mid flight here before. The bald eagles breed and nest in this area during the winter months. We also have a few golden eagles around here but I don’t see them as often.
