going to try the klamath this fall for the first time, wondering if anyone who has experience can chime in. all of my steelhead fishing has been swinging flies for winter run fish on coastal rivers like the eel and russian. Work permitting, im hoping to go first week or two of october. Thinking abot middle klamath area.  Would my 12’6 6 weight spey be overkill? also do i really need to get a scandi line or can i use my same skagit setup i use during the winter? Any advice is greatly appreciated, please feel free to PM if preferred.
