So.... how does one get to the aforementioned water. I have parked at the parking place below the dam, where you walk down the road to the river, but going upstream from there looked to be a dead end, complete with some deep water. Is there a trail that I just haven't found, or is it bushwhacking. I have driven further up the road to the dam itself, but couldn't see any access points to go down , as it was houses and private property.
Walk over the bridge to the canal and follow the access road right or left. There are trails down to the river and you have to do some bushwhacking and rock climbing. There were 22 cars there on opening day.
