Look at the bright side...we'll have lots of flies to hang up on all of the new sunken trees I was at the creek on Saturday. There was a huge brown feeding on top right where I broke one off by the campground. The fish are still there. I've been using size 8 muddler minnows in various colors (grey,black, yellow). Stripers are hitting on the delta in the discovery bay area on the fly as well I've heard.
I wish I could fish for stripers, but I can't afford another rod, especially a 10wt or 9. Were there any slackwater places left on putah? Im guessing that place above the bridge has turned into a second dam by now.
