FOUND AT PUTAH: lost rod/reel.. looking for owner

Hi everyone,

Was fishing last Friday one pullout below the resort and found an Orvis Helios 2 with a Galvan reel lying in the gravel. I fished all evening (fish were biting pretty well!) and the rod was still there when I got back to my car after dusk. I debated leaving it there but would hate for it to be stolen so I took it home and left a note with my number at the pullout. I never heard from anyone but I just found this message board and I’m hoping someone can help me return it to the rightful owner. If this sounds like your set up, message me and id what was rigged up on it and it will be returned. Thank you and please feel free to share this post on any other local blogs I might not know about. It’s a bitchin set up and I’d like to see that it makes its way home

Hi Gregnymphs,

I think you found my gear. I was fishing Friday at the deer sign ,was running late for my son's Halloween party at school and drove off without realizing that I left my rod and reel leaning to the side of my car until I came across your post !  no.

Please PM me so that I can personally thank you and pick up my stuff. It's awesome that you put in all the effort to locate the owner.
