My lovely aunt sent me this picture of my grandfather after a morning of fishing at Putah.  She believes the photo was taken in the area of the now Lake Solano park circa 1967 or 1968.  The dirt road is certainly interesting!

Looks like a Chinook to me

Would be awesome. I'd take salmon and steelhead over our current fishery. But can't live in the past.

That's a great picture! Not far from my ranch. Definitely a chinook. I have some old pics from the early 1960s of my dad holding rainbows up to around 22-24 inches taken from mix canyon creek which is not far from lake solano. The fish are gone now, too many dry years.
