If the water doesn't drop soon, we're all gonna be reminiscing about those great days of summer when the flows were only 500 cfs...hmm

It'll be the high flows of summer coupled with the 90 and 100 degree days. I guess I'll try wet wading this year, having no other choice except the Sierra.

You might not of the Sierra as a choice. With the huge snowpack and the talk of ski lodges being open through fall this year those Sierra rivers will be running high.

I just got a California atlas and have been looking at waters in the Mendicino National forest. I am gonna go to Stony creek next week.

If you don't mind sharing, where are access points on Stony? I've never been, trying to plan a trip for this weekend.

Thx

There will be plenty of good sierra fishing this summer. As far as rivers go the season going to be like late june to october. Still waters are fine. The rivers needed a good flush and now there getting it.
