I fished Putah Creek Wed. 4/5)2017. Caught two beauties (20 and 22 in.) in a hole on the private waters ( I am a member). The key was a long, 12 foot, leader, light 6x tippet, no indicator, and #5 splitshot 18 in   up from fly (a #12 beaded birds nest). Only leader in the water, high stick or Czech techniques. The flow is still a little high and water a little stained...but definitely fishable.
