Hey everyone just letting everyone know about this rattle snake lurking around access 5 at the trail head just befor you head down the trail , Please don't kill it , they are protected and part of the Eco system Just keep your eyes open and be warned a snake bite can cause a lot of tissue damage if bitten
The river is starting to come into shape , no fish to report though
Sorry no pictures , Nate , and to Jeremiah maybe it is maybe it isn't . why cant we just pass through an environment and not kill something or find a way to make it ours . Part of the beauty of nature is its wildness and dangerous nature ? . I think the native americans had it right they respected the the land and thought animals where more that something to be eliminated. please tell me you understand , if you dont and plan on going up there to find it and kill it , please be careful id hate to hear you got bit lol
My opinion from observation--
Sort of an interesting little evolution is going on with rattlesnakes. Because of the propensity of many people to kill rattlesnakes we are culling out those snakes that rattle. What was supposed to warn us and keep us away has made it easier to find and kill the snake that rattles. The rattlesnakes that don't show that same willingness to rattle and not warn us are now the ones that I now see most often. Frankly, I like the one that rattle. They don't bother me and I don't bother them.
