Donations to Putah Creek Trout

All:

This year saw the successful completion of the side channel inlet construction project to increase refuge habitat for young fish and restoring two spawning beds to add approximately 4000 sq. ft. of spawning area. We will be monitoring and maintaining spawning habitat and the side channels for the next two years. It is worth noting that over 2200' of additional potentially fishable water has been added by the side channel modifications.

We also are planning restoration projects in 2017 to increase fishing access by clearing bank-side  nonnative plants, especially blackberry, and planting with sedges and other native grasses.

Please consider donating to PCT and our programs before years end. We have spent most of our available 2016 funds on the restoration work listed above. Any amount is welcomed and greatly appreciated. You can donate on our website through PayPal; checks made out to Putah Creek Trout can be mailed to the address below.

SK60 would the new plants help the fish hide or stay out of the sun?
