Flow rate is measured near access 1. Base rate from dam release this time of year is around 100 CFS to protect the spawning beds from going dry. Every time there is heavy rain, the flows spike and the creek often gets muddy. It should be blown out now, as it was end of last week, by mud flows from Cold Creek which drains the Wragg Fire burned area. That is a huge watershed with powerful flows resulting from heavy rains. SID did not ramp flows up, but may have adjusted them below 100 because of the storm.
