You know, somewhere i've always wanted to try was the Lower Owens River. The flows have never seemed to be effected by any storm this winter, avg 200cfs, and the fishing is supposed to be great. I just don't have the money to get out there.
Thursday I went up to Redding and drifted down the Trinity. It snowed most of the day, and we froze our butts off. I caught 1 16" steelhead with a clipped fin and another hole in his lip. If you are thinking of the Trinity, wear a snowmobile suit.
