Yuba today

Well another great day on the Yuba…   Bright silver fish and full of fight.  Quit arguing about the little creek and hike for some real fish.  The fish were keying on small pmds size 18 and midges size 20.  Don't use an egg they don't work.

On or around Dec 1st the Yuba fishes very well right above the bridge. As of Dec 3 the yuba blew out. It will probably take about a week of flows below 100 CFS on deer creek to clear up. It also looks like water is going over Englebright which further complicates the river. All that being said even if there is only a foot or two of green water on the edges you can fish that. I would say a week or two to fish given that more storms are coming in next week.

Englebright muddy? There is water to be had above Deer creek, but anything on the Yuba guage above about 2,400cfs or so makes it not such a good idea.
