New Putah Creek Fishing Regulation signs and Spawning Area Warning signs were put up at the creek today by 14 PCT volunteers. This was a fantastic turnout that made the work so much easier, and allowed for more socializing during the work effort. Spawning signs were installed at the usual spawning areas, and new Fishing Regulation signs were installed at these areas as well. The metal signs are a big improvement over the previous version.
A big thank you to Steve Karr for organizing most of the necessary supplies for the signs. Also a big thank you to Mark Silva who seems to show up for about every volunteer opportunity with a load of tools that we needed today. Chris Yarnes and Dad, Enrique, Dan, Brian Carrie, John, Mike, Bob and anyone I may have missed are greatly appreciated for donating their time and muscle today.
