I'm looking for a light but durable 1 man fishing pontoon/raft of some sort.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I did some research on Dave Scadden's boat, and it's been over marketed, and there are many disappointed customers. My search goes on. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hey Kbarn check out these 2.

I have 1 of these from Venture Outdoors, the DuraPro 8.  I have used it on the Trinity many times and it can take up to class 3 rapids.  I may have even taken it through a few class 3+ or class 4.  I have also had great customer service through the company.

My father in law has 1 of these and its a great boat, very easy to pump up and deflate for easy storage/transport.  You can also stand up in them and fish in shallow water due to a partially open bottom and they are REALLY easy to row too.

I have a small pontune boat from the creek company. I got it free at the flea market and had to replace one of the covers and it was good to go. It has two pontunes and small ores and a seat. Dont get me wrong I like it but i always have trouble with direction. It is easy to float and direct but to float, direct and fish is another story. I know a guy who has a small floatie that he uses fins with and no ores. He likes it because he can maneauver with the fins on his feet while fishing. They are more awlkward to get started on but id go with the smaller tube with fins. i cant tell you hoe many flies ive lost trying to float and cast near the bank, then when you get tangled you cant row back up to try to untangle while rowing.

just some of my experience
