Just for grins n giggles.  This was the first photo I found on my computer without digging too much.  No idea how to kill the water mark for the Cliffhangers...sorry.

This is located where?

thats what i thought it was but i thought the water was moving off towards the right a little faster so i thought maybe it was somewhere else i remember there was once a bench stuck in the rapids i have no idea how it got there but it was fun to wade in the rapids and sit on the bench with the water rushing through your leg

thats it, good call Roberto! that is my son Nick when he was  4 years old with his first fish on a fly rod. I'll never forget it, he casted by himself and landed it as well using a elk hair caddis. The rod was a 7.5 ft scott g series which I still have. The exact location is in what is called Sackett canal which the chinese dug about 100 years ago to divert water from the creek to the new orchards on the west side putah. I could always stick a fish or two in that spot during the summer months, but it kinda filled in now with silt and I dont thonk it holds fish of any size anymore. My son is now 18 and is leaving for college on a scholarship to play rugby in Bellingham Washington at Western Washington University. The area is prime steelhead and salmon stompin ground, thank god he picked going to school there and not Southern Cali!!

Awesome, congrats to your boy. Years ago, Dawn and I thought real hard about moving to the Bellingham area. As age and arthritis start to set in, the cold weather up that kind of makes me glad we stuck it out down here. Would make for an awesom "ahem" visit the kids trip though.
