Hi Gang, I could use some advise. I'm going to be north of Shasta for a wedding this weekend. Unfortunately not a lot of time to bang around. BUT, I can get my 11 year old out for a couple hours Saturday morning.

I'd be super grateful for ANY direction, public or private, to an accessible spot to get the boy trout on a fly! (he'd not know the difference at this point if planters or otherwise) We will be in the Castella area.  I've read about Burney Falls and the State Park ... I'm wondering if that's a little too obvious. Lite four wheel is not out of the question.
