My expectations were high this morning when my friend picked me up for a trip up to the Putah. The rain had stopped and the flows were up to 298. About where I like them.

Although it w good to get out and thre creek looked in fine shape and despite all my skill, nofish felt obliged to meet us.  We tried access 5 going up to 4. And then finished downstream of the bridge Today. Anyone else out today and any insight?

At the bridge there was a lot of debris in e water. Possibly from the feeder creek above or from earth movers that I heard operating?

I went out for an hour after work today and landed two fish. Talked to a few people best report was five fish landed and a good battle with a fish to about 24". Report two was a fish landed about 20" and then a guy who was pretty close to landing two fish. Big flies have been working for me. Size 14 soft hackles.... Flows have stabilized at about 270 expect the flows to increase!!!
