Anyone see a black C&F streamer box at the Yuba? I lost it yesterday — screwed up an otherwise pretty good fishing and beer drinking day. If found and returned, I'll happily tie the person a dozen flies and buy them a six pack of my favorite beer.

Given that a fly fisher loses a box per outing with a certain probability, carrying three boxes as I do seems to inflate my risk. I'm thinking of switching to one C&F system box and making inserts for each particular river & fly type. Anyone try the C&F system boxes with the removable inserts?

I lost a flybox once and I know it can be heartbreaking when you think about all the time and effort we put into tying our own flies or the money we spend buying them. I have attached my flyboxes to my vest with pin-ons and now only have to worry about dropping flies into the water when I'm tying them on.
