I lose a good number of flies each outing on the Putah.  Those trees are so grabby!  When I first started fishing PC, I kept track of Flies Lost Per Hour Fished (FLPHF). Today, I may have gone POSITIVE!  After casting into a branch, I pulled down this Christmas tree...  12 flies in all (including 1 egg pattern, a large bugger; 3 were not debarbed!).  6 split shot. A couple very nice ties!

Hey that's my fly right there in the middle of that mess!! It's the green one... Can you send it back... That spot is famous for multiple flies all over the place in the trees!

Don't see any of mine. I like that. I hate losing custom go to's. But I like finding other's and otters.

Yes fish are spawning. Fish ethically take care of the stock.

I found a whole bunch of your flies in another tree.  If we can meet up at The Buckhorn, I'll give them back to you.  One beer for one fly . . . sounds like a fair exchange to me???

OK, sounds like I get more beers!!!  I can make this a multi day affair then.  Going rate has been established, one fly for one beer.  I have an open date before New Year's.

I don't see any of my flies in there, either. It's just a sign that I haven't been fishing enough.
