Alan:This weekend the water clarity should be fine,it did get a little off color a few days ago due to 5" of rain in about a 24 hr period and the majority of the muddyness comes from cold canyon between the upper bridge at Canyon Creek Resort and Monticello dam.And yes generally the creek clears up pretty fast because it is indeed a tailwater.It really depends on the amount of rain we currently get with each storm and how saturated the soil already is.Generally speaking it usually doesnt start to get off color on a regular basis untill Jan thru Mar.
