A little over a month ago I went on a walk to find carp.  To my surprise I found something different.  Before anyone gets any ideas I have been up and down this place on a paddle board and rarely see any fish other then Squaws, carp, and stickle back.  Occassionally I will see a trout but probably 1 out of every 10 times I go out and I paddle the entire lake.

Check it out.

Holy s@it Jordan that is a sick fish.  Nice job.  For anyone wondering if you should scoop up a Gopro camera for your flyfishing trips there's why especially fishing alone a lot like I do.  I love how you look down towards the end to make sure you actually got it recorded.  LOL.  I do the exact same thing.  Nice one.

Yeah heck yeah!!! That's why it pays to have a hook in the water. Nice fish, very encouraging to say the least. Thanks for sharing.

I found your carp. A huge pod up near the campground above the Lake Solano park.

Has anyone had success with the carp there?

Nice fish! Grats. Last year I was tubing the lake on saw a big brownie but he was not willing to take my streamer before he took off. There are some big fish in there, they just like to play hide and seek. - Nic
