On a recent 4th grade field trip to the gold country with my son, we had occaision to rescue a couple little rainbows. Just had to put them back in the main channel.

The were alive but suffering from exposure. 3 total, 1 doubtful, 2 good chances of survival.

I ended up wandering down stream, while the kids panned for gold. I caught these little guys working in a small pool under a fallen log! So COOL. Yah, I am a trout GEEK! Amazing critters!
