I have been noticing more and more tree limbs missing with saw marks lately on the creek. Legally I am sure this is a no no but I am curious to your opinions in regards to this.
I don't think I would ever do it, I like the challenge when fishing Putah. I understand the frustration it causes. I guess I have not really made up my mind if it is ethically ok so I thought I would hear what you people think.
Good question. I would have to lean on not cutting the branches, mostly due to the fact that holes have been ruined due to over cutting. I'm all for the challenge I love a risky cast that gets rewarded with a take down. That being said there's a few spots that the old timers must of altered years ago that made perfect sense. Basically by removing something that made a hole unfishable.
I really hope people are not cutting back brush to make it easier to fish certain holes. I understand removing weeds and downed logs to rebuild spawning habitat, but cutting back brush for better fishing holes is ridiculous.. Instead of spending the time cutting back brush to make a fishing hole easier to fish, they should take that time and work on their casting. Just sayin..
