I made this post last year and thought we should do it again.  What is your fishing related new years resolution?

More streamer fishing.

Take more pictures.

Explore new water.

No more indicators.

1.Catch more steelhead than last year.

2.Get one over 20" on a dry fly.

3.Build more fly rods.

4.Catch some fish on those rods.

5.Fish/explore more stillwaters

1. Catch more steelhead this year.

2.Promise not to cuss anyone who crosses the river 20 feet below where I am fishing, which is what happened this morning on the Feather River. And he was a fly fisherman.

3.Promise my wife I would keep promise #2.

I want to enjoy the entire experience of fly fishing and not make the value of the fishing depend on how many and how big.

Cole,

It was good meeting you the other day.

Here's some more Zen sh*t:

With no rod, no reel, no line and no fly, how will you catch the fish?

If you can answer the koan, grasshopper, you will immediately ascend to the Bono state of mind where every fishing moment is sheer joy and communication flows seemlessly to all beings.biggrin

It was good talking to you as well.  It's always nice to put a face to the names on here.
