I am new to CA, been fly fishing for a few years now and would love to meet some fellow anglers and learn some of the local streams. I typically enjoy fishing small streams, wade fishing but I do have a canoe and Jeep to haul it with. Can and will drive someone who would be willing to show me around. I am glad to take a weekday off as weekends typically are harder with the family but if that is what you have free I will make it work. Hoping to find someone who likes a good day outdoors to relax and hopefully catch some fish. If you are in the Sa Ramon/Danville area and want to take a day send me an email or reply here.

i'm just a few miles up the road in Pleasant Hill and (no pun intended) I'm in the same boat with kid stuff on the weekends. I'm relatively new to fly fishing in CA too, but have found a few good spots that work for day trips...mostly small stream pocket fishing.
I'd be up for a midweek day trip to the Stanislaus before the snow starts falling.
