Just wondering if any body else has had problems with these guys. I placed an order 2 weeks ago expecting the standard 4-7 day delivery. After 10 days had gone by without any correspondance, I called and left a message. 2 days go by and I had to call again and talked to someone who said he'll look into my order and email me with an update. Another day goes by so I call again and talk to someone else who said it looked like the order was back ordered and he would look into it and email me with the status. That was 2 days ago. Worst service I've ever experienced, and I pretty much by all my gear from various online sites. I am shocked at the brutal service.
A couple of years back I had left several messages trying to get info about their ranch up in the sonoma area. After never having received a reply I finally gave up on them. Too bad, with the girls all out on their own I have a lot more mad money!!!
I just walked past their store in San Francisco and its closed....all the stock gone and a for lease sign in the wondow. Sign of the times I guess. I bet the Orvis guys around the corner aren't too upset.
