Well, it was such a nice day, I decided to go out again today. My fishing partner and I had a pretty good day, landing a couple of dozen fish between us. What made it interesting is that I landed fish on streamers, nymphs, and dries. Most of the fish were in the 13 to 14 inch range, but I did manage one fat rainbow that measured 19 inches on a woolly bugger. The nymph that worked best was a green Fox's Poopah and the only dry fly that succeeded was a parachute bwo. Interestingly, my buddy caught a bunch of fish on a pink glo-bug. Like Lightfoot said in his post, I hardly lost any hooked fish today, which unfortunately, is not always the case. After a year fishing the creek, this was probably my best day so far!
You're welcome Tom. I did send you a PM in response to your question with my Kienes post. You were correct about the woolly bugger and location. See you on the creek. I'll be out this week as usual.
