Lagunitas is one of five Marin County Lakes. It has quite a few planted fish and a few holdovers, but not much casting room. Parking is about $6 if you don't ride your bike in. The south side is where the fish hang out. Roll cast a size 12 AP or a brassie and you will catch a few. The north side has more casting room, but is usually occupied with the locals just hanging out... It is really more fun to go hiking or mountain biking up there. How did the steelie fishing go?
wellll , you know steelhead fishing  , I landed one. and sarah, well maybe we should have done the lower sac  ,  at least your catching fish then  . all in all  we had a great time.  but sarah got a mild case of hypothermia after doing some wading  and that kinda of ended the fishing for her  plus she ended up having to hold rusty he got really spoked by all the grinding the boat was doing in the shallow water  he just would not stand in the boat and crawled into her lap and would not get down  the lower sac is a lot more mellow ride and  you can usually count on catching fish , owell live and learn

Rich ...Rio is good stuff as are the others on the market. I wasn't there but tippet needs to be stored properly (dry and out of the sun) and can't be too old!! I am pretty sure that if knots are breaking it is old tippet or bad knots!!!
