Went out on Sunday morning and found some small fish. Not a bad way to spend your Sunday morning.

Steve: an email is on the way with the pix and locations.

Good to see small fish in the water. Hopefully they become bigguns.

Fished with Jordan yesterday; same story of several small fish, all 10-12", fat and colorful. Compared to summer ASB "0 caught" forms, most FF report catching fish in October, again mostly small (under 10"), but this is very encouraging. Came across one large dark female accompanied by two smaller males exhibiting mating behavior. So now is the time to avoid fishing for these obviously "distracted" fish, which are going to increase in numbers during the next 3 months.

I came across a large & dark female with 6 or 7 small males all on a redd too. Most likely the same spot. She was digging and they were aggressively competing for first dibbs. I'll never get tired of seeing that.

I was out on the creek friday and did very well with smaller fish 10-14, with 2 in the 16-17" mark. but i got to say those small fish a very nice to see. In a few yrs the creek will be a great fishery again. Nice to see fish already redding up in few different spots. I looked at my log book from previous yrs from fish putah, and its show the fish redding up earlier and earlier as the yrs past. This yr I saw a redd starting up Oct 30th. Where as previous yrs that are mid to late Nov. Awesome Awesom site.

I have not been able to get up the creek for a couple of months now.  Can anyone tell me how the signage we installed is faring?

It sounds like we may need to refresh the spawning signage that is up.

Hey Bob, I just got back from the creek, spent an hour or so on the main riffle just below the bridge.  For the most part the signs seem to be up and visible.  But, this time of year, those signs could "disapear".  I noticed alot of anglers out today, maybe because of the holiday.

I fished at 2.5 and the bridge. The signs there were up and looking good as of Sunday. Did not look else where.
