Need a guide for Dad. Suggestions?

So for years my dad and I used to fish the Pit River in the summer months. But that was when we lived closer. After moving to the Davis area years ago we took up trolling Lake Berryessa and spinner rods were not any good on the Putah. 

He's been fly fishing mostly the American and Yuba and Feather for the past ~10years and I have joined on a few occasions but am not any where the fly fisher he is.

At any rte, I'd love to get him a 1/2 day guide on the Putah Creek as a Birthday Gift.

So, to my question finally, who would you all recommend to fill that bill?

And what is the fishing like within the next month?

I'd love to get you both on the creek but the flows were way down due to canal maint,looks like they have come up a little which will make the creek a bit more fishable. Prior to the big drop in flows (last week) the fishing was pretty darn good. You can call me if you would like and I can fill you in on the details. And thanks to Lil Whip and MX for having my back!!

Called you mid day Saturday.

Would love to connect and talk about dates. I'll try giving you another call this afternoon if I can a chance. Daddy duty all day with a toddler makes anything five minutes long for myself a chore! wink.gif

And we're not dying to get out there this week anyway. When do flows pick back up?
