Thanks Greg and Kieth for the new forum.  Hopefully we will now return to the good old days of sharing information and helping each  other to fish responsibly and successfully on the creek.  I have learned a great deal from the posts and personal emails from the Putah regulars and look forward to more of the same.

Greg,

Thanks for fixing the board, I have been reading the old board for awhile but got tired of weeding through the bull to get a report. I look forward to reading many great reports and hopefully posting some also.

Looks like a brand new discussion board I'm on. Visiting Napa last week of September. May not get to fish the area, but understand Putah creek is close by, even if it's to fish for a few hours. I'm also told the fishing is similar to the San Juan here in the Four Corners. We fish subsurface mostly, 5wt rods. See www.ifly4trout.com

Will be in the Colfax area for a couple of days also, what reccomendations could be given to me regarding fly fishing that area?

Thanks from Farmington, NM
